Kotiin vietävien päätelaitteiden käyttösäännöt

Paimion kaupunki antaa oppilaan (jatkossa ”käyttäjä”) käyttöön kaupungin omistaman kannettavan päätelaitteen (jatkossa ”laite”) oppilaan koulunkäyntiä varten. Käyttäjä on vastuussa laitteesta, kun se on hänelle luovutettu. Laitetta koskien noudatetaan alla lueteltuja sääntöjä ja ehtoja. Tämä sitoumus on voimassa laitteen palauttamiseen saakka tai siihen asti, kun sen korvataan uudella päivitetyllä sopimuksella.

Laitteen käyttö ja käyttöaika

1. Laite on tarkoitettu oppimisvälineeksi kouluun. Laitetta ei saa luovuttaa kenenkään muun käyttöön taikka hallintaan. Laitetta saa käyttää edellä mainittuihin asioihin liittyvien tehtävien tekemiseen.

 2. Käyttäjän tulee käyttää laitetta siten että hyviä tapoja, järjestyssääntöjä, lakeja, asetuksia, yksityisyydensuojaa ja tietosuojamääräyksiä noudatetaan. Alaikäisten (alle 18 v.) käyttäjien osalta huoltaja sopii erikseen lapsen kanssa laitteen kotikäyttöä koskevat pelisäännöt (mm. internetin käyttö).

 3. Laitteen käyttö päättyy peruskoulun päättyessä tai kaupungin erikseen ilmoittamana ajankohtana. Käytön päättyessä laite ja siihen liittyvät tarvikkeet palautetaan kaupungille erillisen ohjeistuksen mukaisesti. Suunnitellusta käyttöajasta riippumatta Paimion kaupungilla on aina oikeus ottaa laite pois käyttäjältä, joka ei noudata laitetta koskevia käyttösääntöjä.

 4. Laite saattaa vaihtua käyttöajan sisällä joko väliaikaisesti tai pysyvästi. Huollossa olevien laitteiden tilalle pyritään järjestämään varalaite, joka ei kaikilta ominaisuuksiltaan kuitenkaan ole välttämättä alkuperäistä laitetta vastaava.

Laitteesta huolehtiminen

1. Laitteet ovat leasingyhtiön omaisuutta ja käyttäjien pitää palauttaa ne ehjinä käyttöajan jälkeen kaupungille. Laitetta tulee käsitellä huolellisuutta ja varovaisuutta noudattaen, huolehtien myös sen puhtaudesta. Laitteen ulkoasu on pidettävä siistinä. Sitä ei saa koristella millään muotoa.

 2. Laitetta ei saa jättää vartioimatta tai näkyville autoon, muuhun kulkuneuvoon tai julkiseen tilaan.

 3. Jos laite fyysisesti hajoaa, katoaa tai varastetaan, tulee siitä ilmoittaa välittömästi koulun vastuuhenkilölle. Tämän jälkeen käyttäjän tulee tehdä tapahtumasta kirjallinen selvitys tätä tarkoitusta varten laaditulla lomakkeella. Jos kaupunki tekee asiasta rikosilmoituksen, käyttäjän on avustettava tarvittavien tietojen kokoamisessa.

 4. Käyttäjä voi joutua korvausvastuuseen laitteelle tahallisesti tai erityisen huolimattomuuden seurauksena aiheutuneesta katoamisesta tai vahingosta.

 5. Mikäli käyttäjä saa kadonneen, varastetun tai rikkoutuneen laitteen tilalle korvaavan laitteen, myös siihen sovelletaan näiden käyttösääntöjen ehtoja.

Käyttöjärjestelmä, sovellukset ja asetukset

1. Laitteeseen voidaan ladata oppilaitoksen valitsemia, erikseen määrittelemiä tai tarjolle asettamia sovelluksia. Käyttäjä lataa tarvittavat sovellukset (vain opettajan luvalla) itse kaupungin sovelluspalvelusta tai muusta osoitetusta paikasta. Muita sovelluksia ei saa asentaa, eikä teknisiä rajoituksia saa yrittää kiertää. Epäselvissä tapauksissa tulee olla yhteydessä koulun yhteyshenkilöön.

 2. Jossain tilanteissa kaupunki voi edellyttää käyttäjän asentamaan/hyväksymään laitteen päivityksiä, mikäli ne eivät asennu automaattisesti. Näistä tilanteista ohjeistetaan erikseen.

 3. Laitetta ei saa omatoimisesti nollata. Tietohallinnon (ml. alihankkijat) työntekijöillä on mahdollisuus tarkastella ja määrittää laitteen asetuksia ja tarvittaessa nollata laite milloin tahansa.

Terms of use for a personal laptop at home in English

The City of Paimio provides the pupil (here in after referred to as the "user") with a portable laptop owned by the city (here in after referred toas the "device") for the pupil's schooling.The user is responsible for the device onceit has been handed over to them. The terms and conditions listed below apply to the device. This commitment is valid until the device is returned or this contract is replaced by a new, updated contract.

Device usage and usage time

1. The device is intended as a learning tool for school. The device may not be handed over to anyone else for use or for being controlled. It is allowed to use the device to perform tasks related to the above-mentioned matters.
2. The user must use the device in such a way that good manners, rules and regulations, laws, privacy and data protection regulations are followed. For underage users (under 18 years), the guardian agrees separately with the child on the terms of use concerning the home use of the device (e.g.use of the Internet).
3. The use of the device ends at the end of comprehensive school or at a time separately announced by the City. At the end of use, the device and related supplies will be returned to the City of Paimio in accordance with separate instructions. Regardless of the planned period of use, the City of Paimio always has the right to remove the device from a user who does not comply with the rules of use concerning the device.
4. The device may change during use, either temporarily or permanently. The aim is to replace the equipment in maintenance with a spare device, which, however, may not necessarily correspond to the original device in all its characteristics.

Taking care of your device

1. The device is the property of the leasing company and users must return them intact to the City after the period of use.The device should be handled with care and caution, also taking care of its cleanliness. The appearance of the device must be kept neat. It should not be decorated in any way.
2. The device must not be left unattended or visible in a car, other vehicle or public space. 
3. If the device is physically broken, lost or stolen, the person in charge of the school must be notified immediately. After this, the user must provide a written account of the transaction using a form prepared for this purpose. If the city reports the matter to the police, the user must assist in gathering the necessary information.
4. The User may beheld liable for loss or damage caused to the Device intentionally or as a result of particular negligence. If you receive a replacement device to replace a lost, stolen or broken device, the terms of these Terms of Use shall also apply.

Operating system, apps and settings

1. Apps selected, specifically defined or made available by the educational institution of Paimio can be downloaded to the device. The user downloads the necessary applications themself from the city's application service or other designated place (only with the teachers’ approval). No other applications may be installed or attempts may be made to circumvent technical limitations. In case of doubt, contact the school's contact person.
2. In some situations, the city may require the user to install/approve device updates if they are not installed automatically. These situations are instructed separately.
3. Do not reset the device on your own. IT (including subcontractors) employees have the opportunity to view and configure device settings and, if necessary, reset the device at any time.
