Creating a guardian's Wilma account in Paimio early childhood education

How you create a Wilma account depends a bit on what your current situation is. When you are creating an account for yourself, choose the option below that best describes your situation. Creating an account must be done in a browser at paimio.inschool.fi.

Wilma-service is free of charcge. You need a Finnish banking ID or mobile certificate for authentication. If you do not have a Finnish banking ID /  mobile certificate or your child does not have a Finnish social security number, please contact the Paimio Early childhood education services.

Wilma account options in different situations:

1. You already have a Paimio Wilma account and want to add a new child to your account

• You can only add a child to your account if you are the child's legal guardian in the Finnish Population Data Services Agency
• Log in to Wilma at paimio.inschool.fi
• Computer:
  • Click the Settings-icon (character+gear) on the right top corner --> Permissions --> Add role --> "Guardian information available through the Digital and Population Data Services Agency"
    (In Finnish: Käyttöoikeudet --> Lisää rooli --> "Huoltajatiedot saatavilla digi- ja väestötietoviraston kautta")
• On your mobile browser:
  • Click the three lines in the right top corner --> Settings-icon (character+gear) à Access rights --> Add a role --> "Guardian information available through the Digital and Population Data Services Agency"
    (In Finnish: Käyttöoikeudet --> Lisää rooli --> "Huoltajatiedot saatavilla digi- ja väestötietoviraston kautta")

2. You do not have your own Paimio Wilma account, but your child is already in Paimio early childhood education at a specific daycare centre or family daycare provider

• Go to paimio.inschool.fi/connect
• Requires strong authentication (e.g. online banking codes or mobile certificate)
• Under School of Services, select the daycare centre/family daycare provider where your child is currently located

3. You do not have your own Wilma account and your family does not yet have any children in Paimio early childhood education and care and you need a Wilma account to submit your first early childhood education application for your child

• Go to paimio.inschool.fi/connect/daycare
• Requires strong authentication (e.g. online banking codes or mobile certificate)
• Once you have created your account, use it to log in to Wilma and click "Submit an application for early childhood education”
• Follow the instructions in the application

4. You do not have your own Wilma account, and your family does not yet have any children in Paimio early childhood education and care, and you need a Wilma account to apply for an early childhood education for some children and to enrol some children in elementary education or preschool education

• Start by applying for early childhood education and follow section 3 by submitting your credentials at paimio.inschool.fi/connect/daycare and thus submitting an application for early childhood education and care in Wilma
• To register your children in pre-school or elementary education: contact the secretary of the Office of Education via email maarit.kulmala@paimio.fi.  

5. You do not have your own Wilma ID, and your family does not yet have any children in Paimio's early childhood education or elementary education, and you do not need a place in early childhood education and care, but you only want to enrol your child in pre-primary or elementary education
